Tubular Plastic Anchors are fluted, cylindrically shaped light duty anchors designed for concrete, block, brick and stone. Color coded to allow for quick identification of diameter, use these anchors indoors and outdoors with sheet metal or wood screws (order separately). The recommended screw length is the thickness of the fixture, including any shims or spacers, plus the length of the anchor. To install, drill the specified size hole slightly deeper than the anchor's length, blow the hole clean then insert the anchor so it is flush with the mounting surface (the minimum base material thickness is 1.25 times the length of the anchor). The anchor will properly expand when the correct size screw is installed. Tubular Plastic Anchors should not be used in overhead applications. Anchors are listed by screw size and anchor length.
