Standard Cable Ties

Cable ties are self-locking, strap-type fasteners made of nylon that are used to bundle and secure wires and cables. Black ties are considered "weatherable"; choose a UV Stabilized cable tie if resistance to ultraviolet (UV) radiation is needed. Width is the approximate width of the band and length is the approximate end-to-end length. Miniature ties are about 0.10" (3/32") wide; medium duty are 0.14" (9/64") and 0.18" (3/16"); and heavy duty are about 0.30" (5/16") and 0.35" (11/32") wide. Wider ties are stronger and longer ties will accommodate a larger bundle diameter. Same-width cable ties can be connected end-to-end to extend length. Use these ties with mounting bases to attach bundles and harnesses to surfaces.
