Metric Cotter Pins

Metric Cotter Pins are formed from half-round wire, which creates a longitudinal split, and chisel points and an extended prong aid in insertion and prong separation. When the prongs are spread they function as a safety and component position locking device. They are available in steel with a zinc plated finish and stainless steel. It is suggested that pins not be reused to avoid failures related to fractures at the bend points.
