Metric Hex Head Cap Screws

Metric Hex Head Cap Screws have a hex head and coarse or fine machine screw threads. All short lengths are fully threaded but longer lengths are partially threaded except for those designated as Fully Threaded; for partially threaded, minimum thread length increases with screw size. JIS B1180 and three sizes of ISO 4014 and ISO 4017 have smaller width heads than their DIN compatriots. Materials include steel and stainless steel, and Class (strength grade) ranges from 8.8 to 12.9. Common finishes for steel are zinc plated and plain finish. We refer to partially threaded as Hex Head Bolts and fully threaded as Hex Head Cap Screws.
