Metric Lock Washers

Metric Lock Washers are a group of washers that are designed to provide a "locking" action to resist loosening. The different types include Curved and Waved Spring; Split with Flat Ends; High Collar Split; External and Internal Tooth; and Serrated External Tooth, Internal Tooth and External Tooth Countersunk. High Collar is used with small diameter heads like Socket Head Cap and Cheese Head Machine Screws. External Tooth Countersunk is used with flat and oval head screws in countersunk holes. Available in steel, stainless steel and bronze; finishes include plain, zinc plated and phosphate. Some types are not recommended for new designs—DIN 128 A is the replacement for DIN 127 A, DIN 127 B and DIN 128 B.
