Metric Set Screws

Metric Set Screws are fully threaded with coarse machine screw threads. Since they are headless and internally wrenched, they are often found recessed in gear and pulley collars and knobs but they can also fasten assemblies. Their unthreaded point, which includes Cup, Cone, Dog and Flat styles, is determined by the application and whether permanent or semi-permanent fastening is desired. Since tensile loading should be avoided, use only in compression. Select from plain finish steel Class 45H and stainless steel. They are also referred to as Allen Screws and Grub Screws.
